Projects
We go where the need is greatest. These are the communities we are walking with — for the long term, in person, and with real resources.
Chiang Rai Youth Project
Chiang Rai, northern Thailand

In the hills of northern Thailand, many Chinese-Thai young people grow up with little access to career guidance, higher education, or a path beyond their hometown. We are building a project to walk with them: one-to-one career counseling from Christian professionals, scholarships for further study, and practical guidance for those dreaming of studying abroad.
What the project will offer
- Career counseling — one-to-one guidance from Christian professionals on choosing a direction, preparing for work, and building a future.
- Scholarships — financial help for promising students to continue their education.
- Overseas study guidance — practical help for students dreaming of studying abroad: choosing schools, preparing applications, and planning the journey.
The gap we see
The gap is rarely a lack of ability. It is the absence of trusted information, professional networks, and modest financial help at the exact moment a young person must choose a direction. Many students move between Thai, Chinese, and English every day, yet have no adult who can explain a career, review an application, or show what a path really costs.
How we will begin
We will begin with a 12-month pilot for 40–60 young people, starting with communities around Mae Salong, Therd Thai, and Mae Sai. The first 90 days are for listening — meeting educators, youth, and families to understand real needs before any mentoring or scholarships begin. Nothing launches without a local host, verified partners, and a written safeguarding plan.
An invitation to serve
A young person may need only one trustworthy professional to help them see a path, prepare for it, and believe it is possible. We invite Christian professionals to mentor, churches to walk alongside, and supporters to help fund scholarships. If that stirs you, please reach out — we would love to talk.
Status: in development — we are now connecting with local churches and schools in Chiang Rai. If you would like to help shape this project, please write to us.

Japan Restaurant Bridge Project
Japan — bridging to the United States
Japan’s small restaurant owners have endured three decades of economic stagnation — falling prices, flat wages, and a shrinking customer base — in an industry where the number of eateries fell by more than a quarter between 1991 and 2014 while sales barely grew. Today, a record wave of bankruptcies falls almost entirely on small, independent shops that cannot pass rising costs on to price-sensitive customers. We bridge their hope — free one-to-one guidance from Christian professionals with real multi-unit restaurant experience, so their craft can find growth across the Pacific.
Status: taking shape — partner outreach has not yet begun. If you are a Japanese restaurant owner curious about the United States, or a professional who could guide one, please write to us.
China — taking shape
Thailand is where our first project is taking root, and our Japan restaurant project above is taking shape. China is our next focus region, and efforts there are taking shape. As with Thailand, nothing launches without local trust and a clear invitation.
