People walking together toward a sunrise over terraced hills — a picture of hope and community

Two ways across the bridge

Whether you have expertise to give or a need to share, your first step is simple. Tell us a little about yourself by email, and our team will follow up personally.

Questions, answered

A simple starting point for those seeking support and those considering service.

Is this a scam?

No. This is a volunteer-led Christian service initiative, not a sales offer. We never charge fees or ask for money, bank details, or passwords. Our EIN is posted above. You may bring someone with you and stop at any time. We will also be direct when a qualified volunteer is not available.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Tentmaker Bridge of Hope offers volunteer guidance without charge. No donation or membership is required to ask for help.

Who can request help?

We aim to serve Asian communities in the United States and Asia. Write to us and we will confirm whether a qualified volunteer is available for your request.

Do I need to be a Christian?

No. Our service is rooted in Christian faith and is offered with respect to people of every background. Spiritual conversation is available, never required.

What is a tentmaker?

A tentmaker is a Christian who uses professional work, skills, and relationships as a way to serve others and live out their faith.

Can non-Christians join as tentmakers or volunteers?

A tentmaker is a Christian serving through their profession — that role is a ministry calling. If you would like to help with practical tasks like translation, event support, or logistics, volunteers from any background are welcome, as long as you respect our Christian mission.

How do I request a consultation?

Write to contact@tentmakerhope.org and briefly describe your need — your country or region, language preference, and the area of help. A team member will reply and confirm whether a qualified volunteer is available.

What happens after I write to you?

A real person reads your message, checks whether a qualified volunteer fits your need, and arranges a first conversation. If we cannot help, we will tell you directly.

Which languages do you serve in?

English, Traditional Chinese, Thai, and Japanese — the four languages of this website. Tell us your preference when you write.

Do consultations happen in person?

Most take place online, so we can serve across regions. In-person meetings may be possible where volunteers are available — just ask.

Bring a gift. Bring a need. Let’s build the bridge together.
